We will have plenty of cold water and soft drinks on board, however you are responsible for other beverages. The weather can change quickly so always be prepared for rain, cool fronts, and hot sun. Do not forget your waders.

Daily trips start between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM unless we make other arrangements. We close the day at 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM so you have plenty of time to enjoy some sightseeing or just relax for the next day. We break for shore lunch at 11:30 to start cooking.

Fly Fishing the White or the Norfork can be amazing in low or high water conditions. I personally find that high water generation on the Norfork is considerably less productive than on the White. My personal largest browns (4 to 9 lbs) and Rainbows (3 to 5 lbs) have been caught on the White in and near Bull Shoals Catch and Release areas during the switch from 2 to 7 generators. Low water conditions in the Norfork Catch and Release have produced large (24 to 26 inch) Cutthroats, Browns and Rainbows. The time of day, water conditions, weather, and feeding patterns, will dictate where the best opportunities await the flexible angler. Fly Fishing trips with 4 in a boat on high water is not recommended. I have excellent relationships with some of the best guides in the area and can make arrangements to contract with them for large parties.

If you have never fished Richard Cross's White River Zig Gigs with Crossfire rods www.zigjig.com you are missing the best action with a spinning outfit. I do not use corn or live sculpins when I Spin Cast. I avoid the crowds and will never sit in a hole 75 feet from a dock and chum for small fish. Rapala countdowns are also great big fish lures.
